Cyclone Lake, it's an odd name for a lake high on a mountain.

Lower Barker Reservoir

There was a raft of ice in the shaded area.

Many ducks were noisily feeding on this side of the lake because there were some people on the other side training water dogs. Rather appropriate for Barker Reservoir.

Looking over Box Death and the Waterpocket Fold to the Henry Mountains

Barker Reservoir, just a little higher than Lower Barker!

This place is going to be absolutely gorgeous when the aspens first leaf out in the spring.

Big View near Escalante, you can see the road snaking down the cliffs in the shaded area.
