October 23rd 2005 - The Riparian Rapture
The purpose of this short ride was to get some pictures of the cottonwood trees changing colour down by the Fremont River in Capitol Reef National Park. I threw in some gratutitous pictures of the rock formations on the way there since the light was good.
The Twin Rocks mark the northern edge of Capitol Reef National Park's intersection with Utah 24.
As I was preparing the pictures for this series I was disappointed with the smaller versions compared to the full screen ones so I have put larger version here as well. Where the 800px pictures are all between 100 and 200KB the bigger ones (1200px) are between 250 and 400KB, probably not important on a broadband link.
