Sand Creek flows from the cliffs to the north of my house down into the Fremont River near the National Park
visitor centre. I live on River Dr which when it crosses UT24 (Main St) becomes Sand Creek Rd and heads into the
National Forest lands. We had our first snow at the beginning of December, it was the first measurable precipitation since early
September so it was needed. I was looking after my neighbour's dog Zane who wanted to go for a walk and I thought she might enjoy
some new scenery from our usual strolls. The sun was shining nicely as you can see but it was only 23F.
