Rain and Rocks

Waterfalls are quite rare in Capitol Reef since it rains so little. They only occur after a heavy rain and don't last long after the rain has stopped.

but tends to crowd out other local species, in some places there are quite aggressive eradication programs.

Though the big arches get all the attention there are hundreds of small arches and holes in the reef.
