Marty's Cathedral Valley Loop

Sulphur Creek had washed out this crossing at the end of July in a flash flood but I thought it would be crossable on our bikes so we had to go see.

Marty sizes up the bank.

And demonstrates his trials-like skills going down it at a snail's pace.

Into the water he goes.

Gets a litle bit sideways in the middle of the creek.

But no problem.

Here I come.

No messing about with that slow stuff, off the edge.

And in with a splash.

I make up for my lack of skill with power and long legs.
