My first thought was that I would head up the dirt road towards Hen Hole Peak. However, the surface was hard and slippery and the truck kept slipping off the main track into the deep loose snow on the sides. After about a quarter mile I gave up on that and backed down to the pavement again.
Continuing north on UT72 I soon came to my favourite view - Sweeper Madness
Looking back down the twisty section.
At a secret place near the top I went to check on Gleno's sign.
Gleno's view was magnificent as always.
I carried on to I70 and after a short trip up UT10 decided to take the dirt road towards Baker Ranch on the south side of the freeway. I found this fixer up, bet it could be had for pennies...
I decided against going all the way to Cathedral Valley though I did pass the place where I got stuck on The Ride of Shame, it wasn't too wet today but there was an ice lake building up next to it ready.
Hooved rats were grazing in the meadow on the way back down 72.
Looking north to the meadow.
