Death Valley

Bypassing the Ubehebe Crater we headed out into the wilderness, we followed the signs towards The Racetrack, sometimes they were 'interesting' like this one at Teakettle Junction.

Finally we reached the Racetrack area, the sun was already getting low. These rocks in the playa looked like an island floating out there.

The Racetrack is famous for its moving rocks, they are blown across the lake bed when it is wet or icy. This one seems to have tracks both coming and going which is a bit puzzling - did it reverse its route?
