Hiking the Twin Peaks
It is rumoured that there are some interesting caves on the Twin Peaks so Alynne, Vicki and I headed out to try and find them.
First we have to find the Twin Peaks - that's not them

Aha, there they are, 7859ft and 7745ft, we headed cross country down a small creek to the centre of the peaks

The centre looked promising for caves so we climbed up it.

One of The Nurses seemed quite tired at the top, probably because there was no sign of caves.

We wandered round the slickrock at the top, a very bright red streak of rock crossed it.

This pillar of rock had tree roots all the way through it.

Strange swirls in the rock.

I'm always fascinated by the individual rocks laying about on top of the sedimentary layers.

We wandered around to the front side of the Twins but there were no caves to be seen, the path out was quite a steep, rugged trail.

As we got to the top of the hill Alynne decided that perhaps the caves were actually in another formation we could see.
However, during the hike she told us a story about a guy who she persuaded that she got her fish fertilizer by squeezing fish at the hatchery, he told several other people then found out the truth.
It was this same person who told her about the caves...
Stumble It!
