Sunday turned out warm and sunny after 6" of snow on Friday, time for Janet and I to take a hike in Sulphur Creek to try and find some rumoured dinosaur tracks.
The Henry Mountains once again looked magnificent with their new coat of snow - I couldn't resist stopping at the top of the road to take a picture (or four).
We wandered around just above the road inspecting rocks near and far.
What is that over there?
It's the Fletcher Memorial Rock, Fletcher may have headed out of town but we have a statue to remember him by.
Our hike started behind the visitor centre with the ever fantastic Castle behind us.
Sulphur Creek almost always has a trickle of water in it but today it had a good flow of snow melt.
Down in the stream bed were the first signs of spring.
Next to the visitor centre the creek is open but soon we were at the start of the canyon.
