The banks of the stream are littered with strange twisted remains of the river's erosion power.
Maybe it's a dinosaur boneyard?
A couple of bushes above the creek were budding out, up in Torrey there isn't any of this yet, still daff and crocus season up there.
A short way upstream the canyon opened up again and there were some whitish rocks that looked likely suspects for dinosaur tracks, of course that involved climbing up the canyon side.
We couldn't find any tracks so we just kept climbing until we emerged from the canyon, from that vantage point more signs of approaching spring could be seen on the road.
The Fremont People had left their email address in the rocks - they had backward @ signs in those days...
