The best loaf yet, I didn't use the new fangled holey French bread tray which has been sticking badly but the regular bread pan and the crust came out great. I prefer this shape of loaf because it's easier to make decent size sandwiches this way.
The ingredients were water, olive oil, molasses, sugar, salt, anise seeds, cardamom, poppy seeds, sunflower seeds, whole wheat and bread flower and of course some yeast. I let the breadmaker do the dirty work then did a secondary rise and baked in the oven with an egg coating for the crust.
The lettuce seeds Janet planted only a few days ago have sprung into life.
The ones in the peat are less enthusiastic but show signs of life at least.
The pipes are from my new Oasis automatic waterer, looks like they are getting a bit too much water so I turned it down a bit, better watch them carefully or Janet might lose her crop while I'm in charge...
