January 30th 2006 - The temperature having consented to rise above freezing it was time to exercise the BMW. I decided to head down through the park and on past the Colorado River perhaps as far as Natural Bridges National Monument, I got too late of a start to go that far and turned around at The Cheesebox.

It was still cool in the park with some snow laying about in the more sheltered crevices, the road was fine though with a little gravel, but not enough to worry me. There were no other people at all.
