Boulder Mountain is to the south of Torrey and is actually a large plateau, part of the Aquarius Plateau which is the highest plateau in the US. On top of the mountains in the picture there are 50,000 acres of rolling flatlands all above 11,000 feet altitude. The storm clouds often gather over Boulder Top in the afternoon, this one had been dumping snow on the mountain in October 2004.
