I've covered over 400,000 miles on my motorcycles in 14 countries on 3 continents. After 30 years of riding it's not actually that far per year but it's still a long way. 2003 was by far my longest distance year covering over twice the previous longest at 53,686 miles, most of it on my BMW.
| At the moment I own four bikes, a 1990 Honda CBR1000, a 1998 Kawasaki KLR 650, a 2002 BMW
R1150RT and a 2005 honda CRF450X. Many people ask me why I have more than one bike and

The KLR650 is a dual purpose on/off road bike which is a great ride on the pavement and on dirt roads and trails. In 1998 I bought my second one after horribly neglecting the first and seizing the engine. The CBR1000 is a sporty bike for local road rides and short distance touring. The CRF450X is a real dirt bike for serious exploration of the mountains There are several other bikes I would like to own... |
