1992 Kawasaki KLR650
I bought the KLR specifically to go on a DP ride to Moab Utah and had a great time there riding on all the old roads in the area, in particular the White Rim trail where I had quite a time getting through the mud at Potato Bottom.
Here I am on the White Rim Trail, Geeky the Denizen of Doom on my shirt.
A good deal of nice red mud was picked up in Potato Bottom, this is what KLR650s are supposed to look like!
Some parts of the trail ran along rock outcrops over thin air...
And then there is the white dirt - this is at over 10000ft in the Cedar Breaks area of Utah.
I think this KLR650 might be my favourite of all the bikes I have owned, it had a kind of loose feel to and wanted to be ridden, the '98 doesn't have the same feel at all.
